• Our decorated sugar cookies, macarons and some of our individual desserts can be shipped. We do not ship any of our custom cakes.

About Chef Erin: I began my pastry career at a young age baking cakes and goodies for family events, holidays and experimenting with recipes. I followed my other passion for art to college where I majored in studio art, focusing on painting and drawing. While studying art, I continued to practice my craft in the culinary and pastry world for events honoring friends and ultimately began designing and decorating cakes in a small bakery.
After receiving my BA from Sonoma State, I attended the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, in the culinary Mecca of the Napa Valley. I received my Baking and Pastry certificate and took a job in Laguna Beach at Montage Resort and Spa. I worked in the pastry shop as well as the high end restaurant creating and executing dessert menus under the tutelage of well-known pastry chef, Richard Ruskell and James Beard Award winning Chef, James Boyce. Experiencing the restaurant environment made me realize my real calling was going back to the more artistic side of pastry, creating works of art out of cake.
With this passion filling my mind and heart, I started Rassasy Cakes. It has been my privilege to create edible works of art that are not only visually stimulating but delicious too. I am confident that my true enthusiasm and affection for both pastry and fine art will shine through for your special occasion.
